In my opinion, the best thing about being in the mortgage business is improving people’s lives.

I have the opportunity to come alongside someone and not only be a trusted advisor but a friend, when they honestly didn’t expect to find one. Most people brace themselves to confront the mortgage process the same way as a trip to the dentist for a root canal. I get to show them a completely different way of doing business, and my customers appreciate it.

I get to help them straighten out some of the wrinkles in their lives and get ahead, instead of just paying the bills. Sometimes, with my help, people can get far enough ahead that they can quit, or at least make plans to quit, their 2nd job and start spending more time with their families - while still being able to put away some money in savings every month.
